Fresher/longer lasting food...
To keep your food fresher longer, try these cooking shortcuts. Line your refrigerator crisper with paper towels or a sponge to absorb the moisture. Also, try keeping crackers in the refrigerator and not in a room temperature cabinet. Finally, put stale marshamallows in an air tight container with a slice of bread. They'll stay fresh longer.

Leftover garlic... If you have leftover garlic, peel it and store it in a jar of vegetable oil. Keep it in a cool, dry place and use it as a salad dressing. |
